The Heroes of the Halcyon podcast received such a great response to my first episode about "Star Drop," that they invited me back to talk about the Galactic Starcruiser and how - and why - its fans were able to build such a tightknit community.  It was such a pleasure to talk with them about community building and why it feels so good.

When an experience surprises you...

​A few months ago I had this silly idea to take my family on the "Galactic Starcruiser," the Star Wars experience at Disney that was supposed to be "out of this world" but ended up with mixed reviews.  
Not only was it much better than any of us expected, but there were a ton of psychological elements that got my "Dr. Lisa" brain thinking.
Then I met Martin, Drew & Kristine, and they graciously asked me to be on their podcast.

I've named this blog "Together As One," because it's one of the foundational messages from the Starcruiser that really hits home.  Even though we have our differences, if we work together we can accomplish a lot!
